This Year
A concept was born in 2007 while I sat at small desk in a small design firm. I left work that afternoon feeling like I could conquer the world with it. I looked back to my university days when the work day ended and remembered telling my mom “I will do something big one day and my name will be recognized in the world of Architecture.” I was inspired. I was motivated. I was passionate.
Don’t get me wrong, there were days when fear crept in. Lack of knowledge and experience managed to make me doubt my ability to achieve this dream. Fear only handicapped my drive but my desire to supersede it continuously encouraged me to persuade myself not to give up. Hence, here I am 5 years later with the determination to push all boundaries to be the best that I can be. To dream without limits.
This year I set my goal to get my concept out. This is the year.
Browsing LinkedIn tonight, similar to other night’s I came across what I like to call a “little sign” that spoke to me:
“How is Freedom in Architecture accomplished?…Freedom expels fear, be free, design with no restrictions, and achieve!” - Randall E. S President at Secrest Ltd
